Items from the Past!

This week in Junior Infants we opened our Treasure Chest and it brought us back in time!! We looked at some old items that our grandparents might have used and how they are very different to what we use today. We found out that there were no DVD’s or CD’s a long time ago. People used large records to play music and video tapes to watch movies. We all pretended to take pictures on the old camera. It was very bulky and heavy to hold and the pictures only printed in black and white.

Some boys and girls were wondering why there weren’t any mobile phones in the treasure chest…….can you think why there were no mobile phones? We all had lots of fun exploring things that were old and new! Have a look at our pictures to find out what was in our treasure chest today!
