Leinster Final Winners for our Olympic Handball Girls
There was great excitement in St. Paul’s this week when both our Under 11 and Under 13 Olympic Handball girls’ teams won the Leinster Finals. What a huge achievement for both teams to be Leinster Champions. A huge congratulations to the girls and their coaches. Both teams are now through to the All Ireland Finals in Gormanstown in April. Best of luck girls.

Well done to Ms. O’Donovan’s 5th Class and Mr. O’Donnell’s Junior Infants who planted potatoes outside in the garden this week.

CórFhéile Choir Performance
Congratulations to all the children in our school choir who performed at CórFhéile na Scoileanna this week. They sang four songs: Beidh Aonach Amárach, Peigí Leitir Mór, Country Roads and Hey Mr. Tambourine Man. They received excellent feedback for all songs and the judge’s favourite was Mr. Tamborine Man commenting that “the children all looked so happy” and that the song was her “highlight of the morning”. A huge thank you to Ms. Gogan and Ms. Kieran for preparing the choir so well for the event.
Boys 7s Team
Our Boys 7s team had a great day out in Dunganny last week with 2 wins, 1 draw and 1 loss, beaten by a strong Kilcloon team.
They played their hearts out and narrowly missed out on progressing to the next stage. The future is bright for the boys. Well done!

Meath Olympic Handball Finals
Congratulations to our Olympic Handball Teams who represented the school in the Meath Finals in Gormanstown this week. All teams played incredibly well and both the Under 11 and Under 13 girls’ teams won their finals and are now through to the Leinster Finals in Gormanstown on March 10th.
Credit Union Quiz
Congratulations to our credit union quiz teams, who represented the school brilliantly at the Ashbourne Credit Union Quiz. Both our Junior and Senior teams achieved an impressive 2nd place, a fantastic reward for the many weeks of dedication and practice they put in over the past few months. The night itself was filled with plenty of fun, teamwork, and well earned treats, making it a memorable experience for everyone involved. Well done to all our quizzers, we’re very proud of you!

New Outdoor Area for Infants
The Junior Infant children at St. Paul’s are having a fantastic time in their first sessions in the new Outdoor Play area at the front of the school. With big smiles and lots of excitement, the children have been busy exploring, climbing, running, and playing together in the fresh air.
The new space has already become a firm favourite, giving our youngest pupils a wonderful place to learn, play, and enjoy being outdoors.
We would like to thank all of the parents for organising lovely overalls and boots for the kids, as well as to those who donated equipment for the new area.

There was great excitement in St. Paul’s this month with the launch of our very first school podcast called “Paulcast”. Huge thank you to Mr. Duffy and our IT committee who did all the interviewing, recording and editing.
