Santa Visit

There was great excitement in the school on Thursday when we had a visit from Santa himself!

Mini 7s Hurling & Camogie Competition

Mini 7s Hurling & Camogie Competition

In November, we had teams represent the school in both the Mini 7’s Hurling and Camogie competitions. Both teams displayed plenty of skill and teamwork and won plenty of matches. The boys team were fortunate enough to qualify of the second round of the competition and never gave up despite playing against schools from strong hurling areas. As always, we are very proud of the boys and girls who put on the St. Paul’s jersey and we hope they all enjoyed their experience of playing for the school!
Olympic Handball Update

Olympic Handball Update

We had boys and girls teams representing the school in the group stage of the Olympic Handball competition at both Under 11 (4th Class) and Under 13 (5th and 6th) levels. On Monday 25th, the two Under 11 teams hosted Skryne N.S and O’Growney N.S in Athboy. Both teams played superbly and qualified for the County Finals in February.

On Tuesday 26th, it was the turn of the  Under 13 teams as SkryneN.S, Longwod NS, and Dunderry N.S visited our school to play in the tournament. As always, it was a hard fought competition but both St. Paul’s teams finished top of their respective groups to also advance to the County Finals.

Well done to the boys and girls who participated, the represented the school superbly!

Choir Visit to Ratoath Manor Nursing Home

Choir Visit to Ratoath Manor Nursing Home

The residents of Ratoath Manor were treated to a wonderful performance from the school choir this week. The choir performed a selection of classic tunes and a few Christmas favourites too. There was a lovely atmosphere in the room full of smiles and good cheer.
Huge thanks to Ms. Gogan, Ms. Nangle, Ms. Kieran and all of the students in the choir. It was a memorable day for all.
