As part of digital learning in our school, pupils have opportunities to engage in educational projects involving audio recording (e.g. podcasts), video production, graphic design and digital collaboration. These activities help develop digital literacy, collaboration and creative skills in a safe, supervised environment.
To support these activities, pupils will use managed educational accounts including Google Workspace for Education (e.g. Google Classroom, Docs, Slides and Drive), alongside content creation platforms like Canva for Education and Adobe Express for Education. These tools allow pupils to edit video and audio, create graphics, submit assignments and work together securely under teacher supervision.
Accounts for Google Workspace, Canva, and Adobe Express are managed within the school’s secure educational domain. Pupil data is protected in line with strict data privacy regulations and core services do not contain ads or use pupil data for advertising. Projects are created primarily for internal classroom viewing, peer feedback and assessment. Select pupil projects (such as a school news podcast, class video, digital poster or presentation) may be shared on our password-protected learning platform (Google Classroom), the official school website, or our official school social media channel (Spotify).
