The Student Council are absolutely delighted to say that our LEGO Drive was a massive success thanks to you all. It’s so nice to see a new generation of children playing with old LEGO that was once loved by someone else.
We raised awareness by putting up posters around the school and going around the classes asking for any old LEGO. We also mentioned the LEGO drive at Assembly. Once we got all the LEGO we were amazed by how much we received. We sorted all the LEGO into many boxes and that almost took 2 days! We divided all the LEGO between all the classes and started to hand them out. When we brought the new LEGO to the classes the children looked like they were opening their presents on Christmas morning! They were so happy .
Now on rainy days when we can’t go out on the yard the children will have lots of LEGO to keep them busy. So we just wanted to say thank you all so much. This wouldn’t have been accomplished without all your support.
