Sixth class really enjoyed Book Week this year. Our theme was “Books from around the World”. Sixth classes researched and read books from Chile, Israel and Mexico. Also, as part of this we had a short story competition, we read to the younger classes and we had the opportunity to meet and learn from a very successful children’s author, Jackie Burke. Here’s a picture of us browsing books on one of our trips to the hall. It was a fantastic week.
