In Third Class we learn about the swallow in Science. In Ms. Smyth’s class we learned how to draw the swallow, as well as other types of birds. We used our skills of sketching, shading and colour to make them perfect!

Room 11 have been working really hard in the new year learning all about the planets in our solar system. They made fantastic posters and even learnt a wonderfully catchy rap song! Ask us anything about the planets, our knowledge is out of this world!

Payback for the Elf on the Shelf in Room 12!

Jingles the Elf visited Room 12 again, but this time Snuffles had got payback!

On his last visit, Jingles had covered himself and Snuffles with all of Ms. Smyth’s stickers. This time it appears that Snuffles and Rex had captured the elf and stuck him to the whiteboard using pipe cleaners and sellotape. When the undercover FBI agents (Ms. Smyth’s Third Class students) investigated the scene, they found Rex with sellotape in his hand, and Snuffles holding the pipe cleaners!!!

Sticky fun in Room 12!

Sticky fun in Room 12!

Jingles the Elf caused chaos in Third Class today! Ms. Smyth had been correcting copies earlier that day and Jingles stole lots of her stickers and stuck them all over himself and our Irish teidí Snuffles!!!!! He left glitter and snow all over the copies and the desk and the floor!

Room 12 made the most of his visit and designed some Christmas stockings with pictures of what they would like for Christmas. They wanted to show Jingles how clever they are so they wrote the words in Irish!!!
